REVERIE
Ansel Adams said it perfectly: “The subject is in you, nature giving only the suggestions.”
Reverie is an ongoing series of small works on Archés paper inspired by views out my studio windows of a forever wild woods and an ever-changing landscape, brimming with organic colors, shapes, and forms. Working with thinned acrylics, I build up multiple layers of luminous color to achieve a dynamic interplay between surface, color, and light. My intent is to capture the tangible beauty of the natural world, while evoking a sense of wonder and reverie.
